Ninth International Conference on Iranian Linguistics
(ICIL 9)
18-20 August 2021Institut für Iranistik, Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften,
Vienna / AustriaWelcome to the conference homepage
We are pleased to invite you to the Ninth International Conference on Iranian Linguistics.
The ICIL conferences aim to bring together linguists and philologists of different theoretical backgrounds working on Iranian languages. There are thus only plenary sessions during the conferences in order to allow participants to attend all presentations.
The selection of abstracts is thus necessarily strict (usually some 35 abstracts, plus ca. 10 posters out of far more than 100 submissions). The ICIL organisers have also published peer-reviewed collections of articles emerging from the conferences, which underline the approach of integrating the various disciplines.
NewsThe Program is available here.
All times in the program are Vienna / Paris / Berlin times. The conference, originally planned for 20-22 August 2020, could not be held in Vienna as initially planned.
The new date is 18 to 20 August 2021. The conference will be held online. Please fill out the form here to receive the Zoom link.
