Comparative Linguistics of Iranian Languages
My main research interests lie in the
field of Comparative linguistics and Corpus linguistics, mainly
synchronic morphosyntax of languages in Northwest and West of Iran.
Some topics that particularly interest me are the impact of internal and
external factors on syntactic change (and language change in general).
At the moment, I focus on word order change with regard to the
morphosyntax-discourse interface and its relevance for language typology
and language contact.
