XXV. VENIT JESUS A GALILEA AD JOHANNEM.


Verse: 1     Fon themo héiminge   \   quam Kríst zi themo thínge,
Verse: 2     thaz Johánnes thar ingágenti,   \   mit dóufu inan gibádoti.
Verse: 3     Híntarquam tho slíumo   \   ther fórasago díuro,
Verse: 4     álfol sprah er wórto   \   joh wídorotạ iz hárto.
Verse: 5     "Drúhtin", quád er, "wio mag sín   \   (ja bín ih smaher scálg thin!),
Verse: 6     thaz thih hénti mine   \   zi dóufenne birine?
Verse: 7     Zi thiu scalt thú mih rínan   \   joh doufen scálk thinan;
Verse: 8     wio meg ih biwánen thanne míh,   \   theiz si min ámbaht ubar thíh?",
Verse: 9     Zi ímo sprah tho líndo   \   ther gotes sún selbo,
Verse: 10     kúndtạ imọ, er iz wólta,   \   iz ouh so wésan scolta.
Verse: 11     "Laz iz sús thuruh gán,   \   so wir éigun nu gispróchan;
Verse: 12     uns límphit wir mit wíllen   \   gúatalih irfúllen."
Verse: 13     Slíumọ er iz irfúlta,   \   so drúhtin Krist wólta;
Verse: 14     tho doufta er ínan thuruh nót,   \   sosọ er mo sélbo gibot.
Verse: 15     Tho ward hímil offan,   \   then fáter hort er spréchan,
Verse: 16     joh zált er thar gimúati   \   thes selben súnes guati.
Verse: 17     "Thiz íst min sún diurer,   \   in hérzen mír ouh líuber;
Verse: 18     in imo líchen ih mir ál,   \   theih inan súlichan gibár.

Verse: 25     Er was dúbun gilíh;   \   tház was so gilúmflih
Verse: 26     thuruh thia íra guati   \   joh thaz mámmunti.
Verse: 27     Thar nist gállun ana wíht,   \   ouh bítteres níawiht;
Verse: 28     mit snábulu ni wínnit,   \   ouh fúazin ni krímmit.
Verse: 29     So ist ther héilego géist:   \   thiu sconi ist al in ímo meist,
Verse: 30     súaznissi inti gúati   \   joh mámmunti gimúati.
