XXI. DE MORTE HERODIS.


Verse: 1     Tho ẹrstarp ther kúning Heród,   \   joh hina fúarta inan tod,
Verse: 2     mit tódu er dága fulta   \   ther io in ábuh wolta:
Verse: 3     Thar Jóseph was in lánte   \   hina in élilente,
Verse: 4     quam ímbot imo in dróume,   \   er thes kíndes wola góume;
Verse: 5     Thia múater ouh bibrínge   \   zị iro héiminge,
Verse: 6     joh wison héimortes   \   éiganes lantes.
Verse: 7     "Ni si thír es", quad er, "nót,   \   ther iro fíant ther ist dót;
Verse: 8     bi thiu ili io thés sinthes   \   thes iro héiminges."
Verse: 9     Fuar er sár heimort,   \   firnam ouh gérno thiu wort;
Verse: 10     sáman mit ther múater   \   so fuar ther sún guater.
Verse: 11     Tho gihort er mári,   \   thar ander kúning wari;
Verse: 12     joh ouh théro worto   \   híntarquam er hárto.
Verse: 13     Kért er tho in fíara   \   in eina búrg ziara;
Verse: 14     thaz kínd er scóno thar irzóh   \   joh then fíanton intfloh.
Verse: 15     Wúahs er filu zíoro   \   in wízzin wola skíoro,
Verse: 16     in wísduam theh io thánne   \   mit góte joh mit mánne.
